  • How do I force an image to resize.

    I've got users posting pictures that are huge.. Their 1 post will be 30% wider than the posts above or below it.. Anyone know how to fix this?

    You can enable thumbnails to be generated by GD. which would solve this problem, granted you have GD enabled.

        Thumbnails are for attached images. Those images are displayed with IMG tags.

        If you can determine the dimensions of the remote images then you should be able to setup auto-resizing of those images. If this is possible then it will require modifying the vBulletin files to implement. I recommend you post a request on www.vbulletin.org , the official vB hacking site.

            You can already use CSS to control size and also someone has create a plugin that uses 'thickbox'.

            The CSS has been around since 3.0.X vBulletin series and most likely you can use it in eariler versions.
