  • Post.MYD can't be opened: mySQL Error 1016

    Hello everyone,
I am having the same issue of Post.MYD can't be opened with a MYSQL error 1016. I am running repair.php. After the repair operation completed, I am still unable to get the database working. Here is the error I am receiving: http://www.kirupaforum.com/error.htm

EDIT: I ran the table repair feature a second time, and I did get some progress:http://www.kirupaforum.com/error2.htm I am setting it to run for another 4 times.

This problem is almost identical to the one here: http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=88075

Does anybody have any further suggestions?

    Cheers!
    Kirupa

Upload repair.php from your extras folder to your admin folder and run it.

    If you cannot do this,

Login to phpMyAdmin and run the following query

    REPAIR TABLE post;

      Hello again Faranth
I did run repair.php at least 4-5 times, and the above file (http://www.kirupaforum.com/error2.htm) is a copy of the result from running repair.php.

I ran the script like you suggested in phpMyAdmin, and this is the following message I received:
Table Op Msg_type Msg_text kirupaforum_com.postrepairerror122 when writing to datafilekirupaforum_com.postrepairerror122 when writing to datafilekirupaforum_com.postrepairstatusOperation failed

      I guess that didn't work

      Thanks!

Shut off your boards and wait 5-10 min and try to run it again,

Faranth - I tried it and I am still receiving that error I have contacted my web host to see if they can try anything. Doesn't error 122 usually occur when the disk space is not sufficient to complete the repair operation?

          Thanks!

Which MySQL version are you running? (just curious if this is pre 4 or 4.0.1x)

Wow - MySQL 3.23.58. I am guessing that is extremely old

EDIT: I have checked this link out also: http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=69803 Most of the fixes didn't work for me

              Thanks!

                Here's the problem:

Error code 122: Disk quota exceeded

You need to either free up some space or ask your host to raise your quote.
