Be sure to include the login info to your Admin CP, phpMyAdmin and FTP.

Nothing?
I'm also worried about not being able to reply... I get "invalid threadid" errors on most of the subforums, although in some it seems it works...
Why?

I made the initial tests with IE. It means it "times out" with IE.
With Opera, I do get the timeout error.

Try reuploading your admin folder, make sure you do it in ascii mode.
Try using another browser.

Can't login to admin cp after restore (unusual)
Hi!
I've read past threads about this problem but none seem to be like mine...
I've restored a fully working backup of a fully working hacked VB 2.3.x
Whenever I log into admin panel, nothing happens, the login boxes remain there, filled, with browser trying to log in forever... after certain amount of time, nothing happens. Same login screen. Empty boxes. No error messages, no error screens. No redirects. No "hang on a sec". NOTHING.
I've tried under Opera browser and it reports a "server timeout". I can surf the forums, but I have the same timeouts whenever I try to REPLY a new thread. BUT ONLY ON CERTAIN FORUMS (90% of them).
I've compared php.ini and mysql.cnf of this server with another server I have with another working VB and both are identical to the period.
I've checked, repaired and optimized all the tables in the VB database, NOTHING! Everything seems OK!
I've checked memory and hard drive for errors. NOTHING! Everything seems OK!
What else can I try?
