Changing listed forum administrator?

Then he is still set to be a moderator of the forum for showgroups make sure to remove him from what ever forum he was a moderator of, if hes no longer going to be one

Thats a manual template edit. open up the forum home and search for Forum Administrator: you should find it, just remove it and the link to his account

That's correct (still listed on showgroups.php as moderator).

In addition, on the front page (http://forums.enscape.net) there's a line near the bottom that reads

'Forum Administrator: bigZ'

I can't see any option that sets 'the' forum administrator apart from other admins, if you follow my meaning.

How is he still showing up as an adminstrator?

as in showgroups.php?

Or somthing else?

Try edting his account and saving again

One of our core staff has decided to move to another site.

Obviously, the first thing I did was to downgrade his usergroup from 'administrator' to 'registered'.

But, he's still listed as 'forum administrator' on the main forums page. I've searched through the CP (logged in under my name and the user with userid # 1) and searched the VB forums, but can't find anything.
I've just tried 'resetting' myself as the forum admin using getadmin.php, but that didn't work (I'm assuming the admin actually has to have been deleted for that to work). I really don't want to have to delete his account.
Forum version is 2.3.0.


Have I missed something really obvious?
