  • mysql error 1064 and "Who's Online" is stuck

Within my admin cp, I'm trying to update the "Thread Info - update thread post counts, original posters, last post date, attachment totals." Every time, I get the following error message.

Another symptom is that my "who's online" is stuck, meaning it doesn't change.

No installed hacks. The board is on www.healthyonthe.net/board/.

Any ideas, please? Does it have to do with the very odd path, "http://www.******.com/board/board/admin/misc.php"? This certainly looks wrong, doesn't it? With two "board" terms?

Database error in vBulletin Control Panel 2.3.0:
Invalid SQL: UPDATE thread SET lastpost=1074691739,replycount=1,postusername='******', postuserid='32', lastposter='******',attach= WHERE threadid=56
mysql error: You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'WHERE threadid=56' at line 1

    mysql error number: 1064

Date: Sunday 01st of February 2004 03:26:42 PM
    Script: http://www.******.com/board/board/admin/misc.php
    Referer: http://www.******.com/board/admin/misc.php?

Here's an update. I followed the instruction in this thread: http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=93573. And now the "thread info" update seemed to go alright (at least, I didn't get an error message).

However, the "Who's Online" is still stuck, meaning it doesn't change.

Also, there's a problem with closing a thread. I click on "open/close" and I get the message saying the thread was successfully closed. But the thread doesn't say "closed" AND I'm able to post a reply to the thread.

    Any ideas, please?
    Thanks,
    Still Waters

Upgrade to 2.3.4. Then if you still have this problem, report back.

Admins and mods can still post in closed threads.
