I'm assuming you have telnet access, if so do the following command
    mysql -u[username] -p[passord] databasename < yourdumpedfile.sql

So if your username was steven, password was test and database name is forums then you would use the following command

mysql -usteven -ptest forum < yourdumpedfile.sql

    Help using dumped database...

Okay, so I dumped the database from the old version of VBulletin into a vbulletin.dump text file... I uploaded it to the new server, which already has everything configured and running an existing small database.

I'd like to use the dump file (which is from the older version) to replace the existing temp database. But I don't know how to do this in mySQL!

    Help?

This new server is running VBulletin 2.0Alpha btw... I have the mySQL database setup, and the dump file ready... but basically I just need to know the command to import...?
