  • database error, any idea?

I had some attempts to upgrade my 2.3.0 to vb3 but failed. and restored it 1 time, then no problem.

then I attempted to upgrade again, and again failed, and I restored it again but with same database and web files I get this error on my forum page

Warning: mysql_query() [function.mysql-query]: Unable to save result set in /vhosts/ on line 93

There seems to have been a slight problem with the database.

In the source there was a error statement like

<!-- Database error in vBulletin :

Invalid SQL: SELECT template FROM template WHERE title='options'
mysql error: Got error 127 from table handler

    mysql error number: 1030

Date: Thursday 29th of January 2004 10:49:39 PM
    Script: /forum/

I see "template" table on phpmyadmin
when click to explorer it on phpmyadmin, then this error occurs on phpmyadmin

    SQL query :

    SELECT *
    FROM `template`
    LIMIT 0 , 30

    MySQL output:

#1030 - Got error 127 from table handler

  • #2
i belive there might be somthing wrong with the table, however im unsure.

Did you make a backup before you started?

If so restore, repair all your tables and start again...
