    Hi all

    i just got this problem. when anyone tries to post, he gets this message:

    Database error in vBulletin 2.3.0:

    Invalid SQL: REPLACE INTO searchindex (wordid,postid,intitle) VALUES (3978,706391,0),(6311,706391,0),(1266,706391,0),(1473,706391,0),(1438,706391,0),(1742,7063 91,0),(217243,706391,0),(3048,706391,0),(19745,706391,0)

    mysql error: Can't open file: 'searchindex.MYD'. (errno: 144)

    mysql error number: 1016

    what's the problem?

    the searchindex table needs to be fixed. the repair.php file may help

      Upload repair.php (it's in the 'extras' folder of the zip file) to your admin directory. Close your forums, then run it from your browser with this syntax:

      http://www.yourdomain.com/forum/admin/repair.php?html=1&check=1

      [Of course change the exact URL as appropriate for your forums.]

      If everything reports 'Ok' then reopen your forums. If not, then run it again. The second time everything should report Ok (except the session table which you can ignore.)

        thanks a lot. problem was solved by this command in the mysql

        repair searchindex table
