  • "Users currently online" problem

For some reason, my users currently online counter is totally whacked out. first of all, for peopel browsing the forums, it creates a new "guest" instance for each thing they do..i.e. for each thread they browse, etc.

The other problem is that it does this for myself as well. For example, at one point, I was the only guest on the boards. I send a private message, replied to 2 threads, checked the memberlist, and went to the main index. A guest appeared as doing each of those things.

What can i do to solve this?

Version? Do you have any hacks installed?

If you have not installed any hacks, fill out a support ticket at:

    http://www.vbulletin.com/members/support_form.php

Be sure to include the login info to your Admin CP, phpMyAdmin and FTP. If you have installed hacks, then remove the hacks first then check and see if you still have this problem. If so, leave the default vB files in place and fill out the support request.
