How do I prevent users from deleting threads?

Hi,

I would like to allow users to delete their own posts, but not threads. I.e., a user can delete his post(s) unless it's the first post in a thread.

In vb1.1.x I had a hack solution that Freddie or Ed Sullivan - I'm afraid I don't remember who - gave me. It was essentially commenting out a few lines in one of the scripts. I'd like to do the same in the current version.

Any ideas what I should do?

User Groups & Permissions -> Registered -> Modify -> Can Delete Own Threads -> No.
