  • Setting the user cp default time zone

Ok I'm getting a lot of questions from my users whinning about having to manualy change their time zone in the user CP.

My situation is that the server that VB resides on is 3 hours a head of our location.

I have to set the time for VB to the time zone the server is in so the the user selected times are right.

Our server is in the eastern time zone, 90% of our users are in the pacific times zone. How/what do I change so that every new users cp is automaticaly set to the Pacific timezone?

    Thanks,
    "g"

I'm pretty sure that would require hacking. Honestly, I'd tell your users to find something decent to complain about; it requires so much less effort for them to change their time zones than for you to change the default time zone of the board. Unless it's actually a board for Californians or something, in which case you're likely to get a better answer on vBulletin.org.
