What's the question? Changing the default vB behavior in this involves modifying the code. And these type of issues should be asked over at vbulletin.org.

I checked out vbulletin.org's forums, however I did not really see a place to ask such a question. I feel this is more of a correct forum. Can anyone help?

Actually reassociating the new user with the old posts would take some doing. You will need to post on www.vbulletin.org for help with that.

    Reassociating a user

Recently, a user asked me to delete his account, which I did.

Then he reregistered, using the same name. He no long has his post count. Is their any way that I can get him his post count back?

    Thanks
