  • Automatically make VB Inactive

From time to time on my server, the load gets very high. I have a cron job that monitors the system load, and I would like to be able to run a script that automatically makes VB inactive if the system load is too high.

I can take care of the load-checking, but I need a API to make VB inactive, something that can be called via a script.

Is there a way to do this?

Have you checked the 'Load limiting options' in the Admin CP?
