  • Show 'edited by' for admins?

If you want the [edited by xxx] message to appear when an admin edits a message, select yes here. This message will appear automatically for all moderators and other users, but using this option you can optionally turn it off.
I have this checked as "no" but it still displays whenever I edit someone's post.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks in advance!

btw: "Show the 'Edited by xxx on yyy' when a post is edited?" is on "yes" because I want this to apply to other posters.

This works just like it should on my forums.

If you have not installed any hacks, fill out a support ticket at:

    http://www.vbulletin.com/members/support_form.php

Be sure to include the login info to your Admin CP, phpMyAdmin and FTP. If you have installed hacks, then remove the hacks first then check and see if you still have this problem. If so, leave the default vB files in place and fill out the support request.

I have NO idea what the problem was, but I reset forum permissions to their defaults and it went away.

Thanks for your help, anyway =)
