Thank you. Got tripped up since on my pc and my user i use cookies/remembered. Made it tricky to test.

    Appreciate it,
    D.

"Go back" as in clicking the "Back" button in their browser? Are we talking about cached pages?

Once a cookie is cleared, going into the history of a browser window doesn't bring back the cookie. Maybe your users are seeing cached pages but aren't really logged in. Refreshing the page is a good way to test that.

prevent logged off users from going back

    Hello...

I'm using the forum as a tool for employees in my company. Several users will use the forum on the same computer. I've forced all users to not use cookies and not be remembered, and set all users to be logged off after 10 minutes.

However, after they've been logged off any user can press the back button on their browser and be logged into the forum again without having to re-enter their username/password.

We're concerned other employees will "go back" and essentially be logged on as a different user.

Can I prevent this? Aside from having them close the browser, that is.

    Thx,
    D.
