I deleted a forum by accident. Is there anyway to get the forum back? Or did it delete all the posts that were in that forum?

When you deleted a forum you are given this message:
So yes all posts will be deleted. If you deleted the Category, you will be given a selection of forums to put deleted categories forums in.
Are you sure you want to delete this forum?
It will remove all posts and subforums too!
