  • Changing database names and passwords?

I added a new user name to my MySQL database and I would like to use this user name and password to log onto my vbulletin database. I am wondering which files I have to change to do this? I am guessing config.php is the only one? Is this so? Also is it safe to delete my "root" user in mysql. I have to root users one with localhost as the server and one with % as the server? Whats up with that

Yes, all you need to to is update copfig.php. Also I wouldn't delete your root user. You may need it someday.
