  • 2.3.2 - vbdate undefined function?

One of my users indicated that he got this message while trying to edit a post, but I have been unable to duplicate it.

Parse error: parse error in /home/httpd/vhosts/alleria.com/httpdocs/forums/admin/functions.php on line 1221

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: vbdate() in /home/httpd/vhosts/alleria.com/httpdocs/forums/admin/sessions.php on line 400
I checked both functions.php and sessions.php -- and sessions.php calls vbdate, which is certainly defined in functions.php, so I'm not sure why it would've thought that this was an undefined function. Any thoughts?

If you have modified any vBulletin files, try uploading the original files from the vBulletin zip file. I don't know what else could be causing that.

You definitely need to at least reupload the original functions.php file from the vB 2.3.2 zip file. Make sure you upload in ASCII and overwrite the one on the server.

Thanks! I did both and apparently, no one's had any troubles since. Pretty strange - I'm wondering if perhaps it might have been corrupted on my earlier upload.

        Thanks,
