  • Database errors on Windows 2000-based vBulletin

I am getting constant errors on my vBulletin as listed below. If I have 10 people on my bulletin in total it is a lot and the server runs its own mySQL database and PHP which is ONLY used for the bulletin board:

    Database error in vBulletin 2.3.2:

Invalid SQL: SELECT COUNT(*) AS threads FROM thread
mysql error: Can't open file: 'thread.MYI'. (errno: 145)

    mysql error number: 1016

I have tried the repair.php fix a number of times. (I was up to 4 iterations) and there were an number of tables still reporting as bad and that they "do not support checking"

This means that those tables are not MyISAM type. What version of MySQL is running on your server and do you have phpMyAdmin available?

Change CKEditor Colors to Match Style (for 4.1.4 and above)

      MySQL 4.0.13-nt

I have found phpMyAdmin and have downloaded and installed it ready for this problem.

Using phpMyAdmin you need to manually change all the table types to MyISAM for every table except session, which should be HEAP. Once you do this, the tables will be repairable with repair.php.
