  • MAJOR Problem - Templates

Stupidly, I reverted a few templates I didn't want to revert.

I have a backup of all my php and my db from tonight...

how can I get those templates back?

Is there a way to do it without just a DB restore?

A couple things I can think of:

    1) Open up your backup file in a text editor. Search for the name of the template you want, copy the contents of the template and paste it into your Admin CP.

    2) Restore the backup file to a new database and use a front-end like phpmyadmin to browse to the template you want, copy and paste.

      Jakeman, thanks for your advice.

The main thing I needed to 'make sure of' was that the templates are stored in the DB and not written somewhere onto the file folders.

Thanks, I am currently working on option 2.

Thanks for the quick response again.

Everything is up and running like normal.
