  • Small user registering problem

    Everytime a new member registers, When they click on the submit page with thier new user name and password it throws them to a error page. Once they hit refresh, it says "that user account is already in use". Then I get a e-mail with this:

    Database error in vBulletin 2.3.0:

    Invalid SQL: INSERT INTO userfield (userid,field1,field2,field3,field4) VALUES (138,'','Virginia Beach','','navy')
    mysql error: Duplicate entry '138' for key 1

    mysql error number: 1062

    Date: Tuesday 29th of July 2003 11:23:27 PM
    Script: http://www.tallahasseemusclecar.com/...m/register.php
    Referer: http://www.tallahasseemusclecar.com/forum/register.php

    I did a quick search and didn't see anything like this. I've tried running the repair.php and it doesn't find anything wrong. Thanks for any help.

    Edit: also the new user never recieves the e-mail for activation

    Try this first. Run this query in phpMyAdmin:

    REPAIR TABLE userfield;
    Steve Machol, former vBulletin Customer Support Manager (and NOT retired!)
    Change CKEditor Colors to Match Style (for 4.1.4 and above)
