How do I seperate the Catagory's?

Hey Guys

I am Getting hassle from the members of my Forum to change the display to organise the Cats and Sub Forums. At the moment they all look like one big List.

I would like to get it set like the Index page here with the Sub Cats hidden and the main cats spaced Out.

Please Help before the members torture me to death!!
