  • Editing the vBulletin Code

    When sending vBulletin links out to members via e-mail they have to enter a username and password to enter the forum. I would like to add this code which adds a tick box saying they accept the terms and conditions to continue. Where do i put this code. The code is not complete, some things need to be changed. just an example

    1: Insert between <HEAD> and </HEAD>

    <SCRIPT language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript">
    <!--
    // (c) http://insighteye.com
    function checkCheckBox(f){
    if (f.agree.checked == false )
    {
    alert("Please tick the 'I Accept' box to continue");
    return false;
    }else
    return true;
    }
    //-->
    </SCRIPT>

    2: Insert where you like on your web page:

    <form action="demo_tc_done.htm" method="GET" onsubmit="return checkCheckBox(this)">
    I accept: <input type="checkbox" value="0" name="agree">
    <input type="submit" value="Continue">
    <input type="button" value="I Don't accept" onclick="document.location.href='/index.html';">
    </form>
