  • Index.php asks for download

Got a major problem with access to my board.
Everytime i go to our url it asks me if i want to download the index.php file.
However some members can still access the board ok.

This started happening all of a sudden,i haven't messed with any settings.
I've deleted my cookies and temp files and still no go.

    Any ideas??

Try this with a different browser ! If it works there, then something with your browser has changed.

Forgot to mention i'm using IE6.
Tried with several alternative browsers, still the same result, asks to download the index.php

This is the same result with some members not just me.

But strange thing is some members can still access the board.

Can some of you guys try my url. Thanks.

I'm using IE 6 and can access your forums fine. This has to be something on your coputer causing this. It's hard to understand what this could be if it's happening on more than one browser though. In that case it's got to be something else you are running that is interfering with web access (firewall, ad-blockers, etc.)

The thing is Steve, other members get the index.php download as well,so its not specific to my machine. Some of them have also used multiple machines, still with the same result.

Then perhaps it's a server issue, although I don't understand why it would happen to some people but not others. Did you recently move servers or change DNS?

Well if it's happening to more than one person than it's something in how your web server is configured. What exactly that something is I don't know.

Did you upload the files in ASCII Transfer Mode?
