vb is not updating

this is strange i moved to a new server

and since i did my board is showing 513 users online ALL the time
with the threads not changing even if i reply

it's like it's reading off the cache or something

when i log into the control panel i can see the actual number of vistors online at that time,,, it's driving me nuts

New server migth be a new ip.
nslookup on the host and see if it matches the new ip
if not, update your dns cache.

I'd say: check the domain name server entries at goDaddy and your hosting provider and make sure you are not using the old ip.

and when openning ip i get 473

I accessed all three URLs and they had the same number of users: 447.

i did a tracert command
and ping
and all were fine

but still anyone who opens the site here is complaining of failure of updating :s
is it from the vb script or the server?
