  • Please Help!!! I'm goin insane...

    Hi,

I'm having the "can't access thread.myi" problem that other people ahve been having apparently....

I'm going insane. I want to run the repair.php file, but I don't have it.

I have vBulletin 2.2.9 running right now. I can't seem to find the original zip, or anyof the extras.

    I need the repair.php file....

    Thanks,
    carl

Download it again from the members area, if you need the original files. (note that 2.3.0 is the latest stable version now)

The repair.php in the 2.3.0 will work fine for this. Also you can fix it by running this query in phpMyAdmin:

      REPAIR TABLE thread;

Running it in phpMyAdmin where? There are lots of tables in the VB database, and when I click on the "User" table on the left, it gives me the same myi error:

          Can't open file: 'user.MYI'. (errno: 145)
          Error
          SQL-query :
          SHOW KEYS FROM `user`
          MySQL said:
          Can't open file: 'user.MYI'. (errno: 145)

So how can I run that query?

never mind, I found a "Repair Table" option in the PhpMyAdmin
            Very slick
