This is why I asked 'on which forum' earlier.
If only one user is having this problem then it is probably browser or computer related. Have him/her try another browser.

Sorry for any problem the question may have caused.
It's my forum and I couldn't care less about the problem. Being that the latest posts
are highlighted anyway there shouldn't be any new post worries at all.
I hope my 137 million members can live with that. I sure can. 137 million?
Maybe 10 people tops and one has a problem with it.
Thanks

If you mean this forum, then I can't duplicate the problem. I use the new posts link all the time and have no problems.

It's in the header of the main page Steve.
I think I found the answer, let me know if I'm right.
The link times out! Can that be? I think it's only viable for a few minutes.
It'll work right after a post but I'll get that error message after
awhile...

On the main page, under the greeting, where it says "View New Posts".
I'll click it and, although it searches, I get the same message; new posts or not.

I think he means for his forums.. Are you sure there are new posts?

Any time you click on it you get the message:
"Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms."
This happens even with new posts on the board.

I'm not quite sure what you're trying to accomplish. The 'View New Posts' link performs a search to find new posts that were posted after the user's last visit.

What template, if there is one, do I work with to make "View New Posts" list them?
A member just informed me that it isn't listing anything and it isn't Know what's up?.Tags: None
