  • Database error

    Im getting this database error via e-mail, but my site seems to run fine(every time there was an error in the past, the board would would display the message).

    I ran repair.php, but Im still getting the e-mails.

    Database error in vBulletin 2.3.0:
    Invalid SQL: SELECT user.*,userfield.* FROM user LEFT JOIN userfield ON
    userfield.userid=user.userid WHERE user.userid='37'
    mysql error: Can't open file: 'user.MYI'. (errno: 145)
    mysql error number: 1016

    Open the extras folder included in your vBulletin download and upload repair.php into your admin directory and run it.

    If you get a session error, don't worry, that's not an issue. On the second run of repair.php, the session error should be the only thing you get.

      I did run repair.php, everything is ok

      Phpmyadmin shows that the user table is in use.

        Maybe i missed it the first time, but I ran repair.php again and the user table did show some errors. I ran it again and none show up now.

          Probably because repair.php fixed the altercation.

            'In use' means there's still a problem with the table. Repair.php does not work with the user and userfield tables. To fix this you'll need to run this query in phpMyAdmin:

            REPAIR TABLE user;
