Attachment error

I get the following error when trying to post an attachment:

You have attempted to upload an invalid type of attachment. The valid extensions for attachments are:

Also there are no extensions listed below that error. I was trying to upload a .jpg

Upload the phpinfo.php file from the 'extras' directory of the zip file to your forums directory. Then post the URL here. This will help us troubleshoot the problem.
