Read forums stay lit up

after i read a post or forum, the icon still is lit up telling me i havent read it yet. only way to get them to turn off is to click "mark all forums read."

You mean the icon on the forum home page? That's normal. It won't change until you log out or your session ends.

so theres no way to know if someone posted something new after you read a forum unless you end your session? is there a hack to change this?

Just look at the last post column when you get back to the main forum display.

Also when you go into one of the forums there will be a down arrow displayed by all threads that have new posts in them.
