move forums from say:

www.mywebsite.com

to

www.mywebsite.com/forums

It simply a matter of changing the location of the files. Nothing else needs to be done.

Also; just changing your config file (if in a diff location or diff database)

then just move the files and change the location of the vb in admin panel.

Also, make sure you update the URL to your board in the Admin CP. (Admin CP --> vBulletin Options --> [General Settings] --> URL)
