IP search including ppl who havent posted?

Is it possible to search for IPs including ppl who havent posted yet? At the moment only the Ppl who posted (their post ip) show as a result of an IP search. It would be very nice to be able to include in the search the ppl who havent posted yet. Why werent they included? Did i miss a setting? Can it be done? How
