  • Weird Problem

Okay, i have been using a unmodded and unhacked version of vb 2.3.0 and has been working great up untill now. I belive it might be my host and he isnt on at the moment. Anyhow, i all of a sudden get this error while trying to get on my board.

    ------------------------------------
    Database error in vBulletin 2.3.0:
Invalid SQL: SELECT COUNT(*) AS threads FROM thread
mysql error: Can't open file: 'thread.MYI'. (errno: 145)
    mysql error number: 1016

    Script: http://www.TheNemesis.net/Forums/Forums/index.php
    Referer:
    ------------------------------------

So i figured i would go ahead and create a new board for a Test to see if mysql is working. Well have uploading 2.3.0 and installing it i get this after the installtion is trying to connect to the database

    ------------------------------------
    Attempting to attach to database...
Connect failed: unexpected error from the database.</DIV><DIV>Error number: 1044
Error description: Access denied for user: '[email protected]' to database 'hazelboy_vbulletin'
Please ensure that the database and server is correctly configured and try again.
    ------------------------------------

is this vb or my host?

This appears to be an issue with MySQL 4.0.12:
