  • 2.2.9 > 2.30 problems

This is getting on my nerves now.

For the past week I've been getting that infomaous error

Invalid SQL: INSERT INTO useractivation VALUES (NULL,'1','1050348582','25553102',1)
mysql error: Column count doesn't match value count at row 1
    mysql error number: 1136
Date: Monday 14th of April 2003 03:29:42 PM
    Script: http://www.charmed-source.com/forum/forum/member.php
    Referer: http://www.charmed-source.com/forum/...?action=lostpw

Firstly as you can tell, it says forum twice in the first link.

Secondly, if I try to upload a newer version, it's like my computer doesn't recognize it and I'm definately presented with the same file. I know this because I've hacked member.php, and uploading an unhacked one should present errors, right? I get no errors whatsoever - and the hack is still displayed.

Not sure what your last paragraph means but this error is caused by the hacked member.php file.

      Thanks for reply for replying.

What I mean to say, is that, basically, uploading a new member.php file [unhacked] does nothing whatsoever.

Hmmnm...it's hard to see how. You could fill out a support ticket at:

        http://www.vbulletin.com/members/support_form.php

Be sure to include the login info to your Admin CP and FTP.

However you'll need to remove the hacks first.

So if there is an unhacked version of member.php only, will that be OK? I mean will I still be able to get support?

One last thing I'll do - I'll upload it using our file manager and see what happens...

Nope - since files are dependent on other files you'll need to remove all hacks.

Well I did it and fixed it - looks like I'll be changing FTP very, very soon

              But one problem exists now.

When I view anyone's profile, or try changing my password, I get blank screens.

              Thanks for your help Steve

It sounds like you didn't reupload everything or some of the files were not uploaded in ASCII.

Which is odd because I actually selected ASCII and have it as default anyway :/

Any insight into the templates problem?
