  • Problem with uploads after password change

Hi guys. I changed the database password today and since i have done this i have had problems uploading attachments.

    got messages like:

Warning: Unable to create '/usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/f1modelnews.com/httpdocs/modelforums/tmp/afterrace3.jpg': Permission denied in /usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/f1modelnews.com/httpdocs/modelforums/admin/functions.php on line 1690

Warning: Unable to move '/tmp/phpMycBrL' to '/usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/f1modelnews.com/httpdocs/modelforums/tmp/afterrace3.jpg' in /usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/f1modelnews.com/httpdocs/modelforums/admin/functions.php on line 1690

Warning: stat failed for /usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/f1modelnews.com/httpdocs/modelforums/tmp/afterrace3.jpg (errno=2 - No such file or directory) in /usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/f1modelnews.com/httpdocs/modelforums/admin/functions.php on line 1694

Anyone know how to stop this?

Although the server i use 34sp.com was upgraded as well so the problems could be caused by that.

    Any ideas people?

You will probably have to update config.php in the admin folder with the new db password...

Tried that but this would not allow the database to work. The password which changed was the FTP password. I'll try putting it back to the original and seeing if that works. If not then it must be the server software.

I'll bet you're on a Plesk server, right? If so, see this thread for information on how to get attachments to work:
