  • Admin only board

Ok, I want to set up a board that admins and super mods can view. I have set it up and tried to do this. However my forum mods can access the board. First I had the mods in the registered category and with mod priviledges on the various boards they belonged on. They could see the board.

Then I made a seperate category called forum mods and made them all members of it and under forum permissions on the "Admin Board" made it os they shouldn't be able to view the board but they can still see it.

I am confused, what am I doing wrong?

By default, Mods get access to all private forums. You need to edit each Mod's forum access permissions and set this to 'No' for that forum.

I know this is a really dumb question, but where do I do this? I know how to set the user group permissions. But I don't know how to set an individual so they can't see a forum...

Pull up a user's profile in the Admin CP, then click on the 'Edit forum access' link at the top of the page.
