  • When I edit a thread...?

and uncheck "Show thread: Show thread in forum list" it says the thead no longer exits. Does unchecking this delete the thread or just hide it. If it just hides it, how do I find it again? Thanks.

It seems like it deletes it, although it implies it just hides it.

I'm moving this to the bugs forum for a developer to look into.

I'm surprised this hasn't been looked into before.

I mean its really crappy of vBulletin to have it like this.

Choosing to "not show" something and completely deleting something are two different things. Looks like someone made a boo boo a long time ago...

Go to your Admin- or Mod-CP, then to Moderation -> New Posts.

It should be there, since hiding it moves it into the moderation queue.

As Stadler said. Unchecking this puts the thread into the Moderation Queue.

Ok thanks! It worked. But what about when I want them to be viewable/visible again on the forum? Thanks.

Then you need to approve them through the Mod Queue.

Oh wait, does "approve" = Validate?

                      Thanks Another question...

I never knew there were "Threads awaiting validation"....

There are quite a few threads in there already, how did they get there? Why do they need validation? I didn't think threads had to be validated I thought you typed it in, and then posted it

                      Thanks.

If someone begins to post a poll but doesn't complete it, then it goes into the Moderation Queue.
