Censoring words and updating old threads and titles

I was trying to censor words like a$$**** and $*** and it censored the letter 'a' in every thread and title while I had this setting. Is there anyway to update these thread titles and posts replacing the * with the letter 'a'?

Unfortunately, no. The asterisks are written to the post, not inserted on the fly when loading a page.
