when I get a notification the "from" part of the email seems to be the users email address. I want it to be my forum name. How can I change this? thanks

It should be 'from' your forum address. It is for my forums and for the notifications I get from these forums. If this is not happening then it's probably due to a hack. Reupload the original vB files and see if that corrects the problem.Steve Machol, former vBulletin Customer Support Manager (and NOT retired!)

The 'from' is taken from your Board Title and Webmaster's email settings in the Admin CP. What are these set to?Steve Machol, former vBulletin Customer Support Manager (and NOT retired!)

Then the from field should show "Physics Forums" with the email address of [email protected].Steve Machol, former vBulletin Customer Support Manager (and NOT retired!)

I don't think this is a template issue. As I said earlier, this is probably due to a hack. Most likely a change to functions.php. Reupload the original vB php files.Steve Machol, former vBulletin Customer Support Manager (and NOT retired!)
