I now have a basic idea of what is required, and have made a backup from the current server.. I now just need to gain SSH access to the new server and we can get the ball rolling and hopefully have a successful move.

Both me and the owners of the two servers are quite clueless when it comes to MySQL databases.. I've never heard of SSH/Telnet until reading the guide.

Wouldn't the hosts get ratty about performing backups and restoring them for you?

I've tried performing a backup through the vB control panel, but I've come to the conclusion that this doesn't include threads, posts and members, is that correct? I've also tried performing backups through phpMyAdmin with no success, I don't know which settings I need to select (Data, Structure etc).

How would I go about transferring my vB, with all posts and members from one domain to another..? I've read the guide they have here at vbulletin.com but can't understand it..

I want to move from here to here..
