  • problem with linking

    ok so i have automatically parse URL's checked, and so does the user trying to post this link...

    so he put

    http://www.s10owners.com/gallery/alb...16/w7moves.mov

    in his post, and vB automatically makes it a link...thats fine

    but when you click on ot vB tries to send you to:
    http://www.s10owners.com/My%20Docume...7moves.mov/%22

    any ideas anyone?

    1.Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> Thread display options -> Number of characters before wrapping -> xxx

    Change 'xxx' to whatever number you want.

    2. Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> Posting Code allowances (vB code / HTML / etc) -> Allow Dynamic URL for [img] tags? -> Yes

            Try reverting your newthread/newreply templates to their original state.

                It's got to be something in your templates or PHp files causing this. Fill out a support ticket at:

                http://www.vbulletin.com/members/support_form.php

                Be sure to include the login info to your Admin CP and FTP.

                  The problem is in your hacked functions.php file. In particular this line:

                  return "<a href=../My%20Documents/s10owners/vBulletin/12693cd5.229/upload/admin//%22$righturl/%22 target=
                  \"_blank\">".str_replace('\"', '"', $hyperlink)."</a>";

                  Reupload the original functions.php file to fix the problem.
