  • [bug?] Can't add new style

I can't seem to add a new style to my forums.

Let's say I try to add a style like this:

    Title: New Style
Replacement Set: Create new replacement set
Template Set: Create new template set
    User selectable: No

    The result...:
Database error in vBulletin Control Panel 2.2.9:
Invalid SQL: INSERT INTO replacementset VALUES (NULL,'New Style')
mysql error: Column count doesn't match value count at row 1
    mysql error number: 1136
Date: Sunday 05th of January 2003 11:34:06 AM
    Script: http://forums.totallyre.com/admin/style.php
Referer: Snipped because the URL won't display right because of yet another WYSIWYG bug
    Help

Have you installed any hacks or imported from another BB system? Check the replacementset table with phpMyAdmin. How many columns does it have and what are their names?

Change CKEditor Colors to Match Style (for 4.1.4 and above)

        I see three columns:

        - replacementsetid
        - title
        - importreplacementsetid

And yes, I did import posts from phpBB. I have no hacks installed though.

You didn't finish the import process. You need to delete the importreplacementsetid columns in both the replacementset and templateset tables.

Bah... no one ever told me I had to do that manually. My board has been running just fine since I imported from phpBB three months ago, so it never occurred to me I should go in and remove those columns.

Oh well, it indeed does work after removing those columns. Thanks

Actually you shouldn't have to do this manually. My understanding is that if you complete the import process it would have removed these columns automatically.

I did complete the import proces, to the best of my knowledge. Oh well... I'll call it a quirk then.

FWIW I've seen this a couple of other times too. Perhpas it's a bug in the import script - although this doesn't happen with everyone.

I don't know... the final step uses sub "cleandb" from bbimport.php, I don't see anything wrong with that...
