Hello. I would like add "Go to Top" or "Back" links to the bottoms
of all my forum reply pages. However, I see no way to edit pages
that are designated forumid=1, forumid=2, etc, etc, etc.
Is their a template I can use to do this, or a way to access each
forumid number so I can do this edit.
Thanks for any help.
Ah, I see you now have that option available with your 3.0 beta.
I am running 2.2.9 and would like to add this feature.

Yes. Thanks for replying. I've done that, actually just by putting the
link only in the footer. Seemd I didn't have to bother with the header.
What I would really like to do, though, is replicate the links to the
forums index and category that you have at the top of thread down
at the bottom so that my members don't have to scoll back to the top
of the page before they go back. The problem though, as I suppose you know is that each forum and category is given an id number and each
page and its accompaniying link are dynamically assigned to the page
requested. At least that's how I see it. I certainly could be wrong. But
I cannot figure out a way to place links at the page bottoms because
individual thread pages are unavailable for editing. I hope I'm making
sense to you on this. I simply would like to know if there is a way to
place these links on the various page bottoms as they are called up
by users.
You don't need <a name="top"> , it works without it as it's assigned automatically.
And using links twice on a page is a waste of space, it confuses the users who will wonder which links are the actual links.
