Simple question - Moving Threads?

Hi. How do I simply move a thread to another category/forum? Thanks.

In the Administrative Options dropdown, select Move/Copy thread. I think Edit Thread can do it, too.

If you have Private sections in your forum only for administrative purposes, and you have a Trash section, it would be advisable to delete the "Redirect" command in the move template. If the Moderators move a thread and redirect it into the trash, in the private section, the members will have access to that section. I removed the code in the 'threads_move' template in the Thread Management Templates and it ended up looking like this:

Just something you might consider, it's more of a security cover for your private section.
