  • No SMTP

Hello, I am having a problem right now. My Hosting company does not provide smtp service only pop3. What or how would I configure it to relay off of one of my personal servers for sending out e-mail.

Please help need this right away.

    Thank you

The sendmail server is set in your php.ini file. I don't see why you couldn't specify a remote server for sendmail (though I have never tried it before). You need root access to edit the php.ini file. You can also ask your host to make the changes.

In order to use a remote server, the host of that server will have to configure it to allow connections from your server.

By the way, I can't believe a host would not offer SMTP. You might want to consider finding a more suitable host.
