QUOTE bbcode not working

I try using the QUOTE bbcode command on my board but it doesnt work at all. It simple looks like this:

[ quote ]
whatever text goes here
[ /quote ]


Why is it doing this? Yes, i have enabled BB code for each forum and also through the vB options. And yes, the HTML table in which the quote is supposed to be in is also correct(under custom bb codes)

What do your have for your quote BB code, and what is the content of your quotereply template?

and this is in the quotereply template:

I meant to put spaces in the bb code here...just to prevent it from doing the action, just in case if you were wondering.

You have modified your quote BB code from the original. Obviously your modification doesn't work. Where did you get this mod from?
