I do not know the effects this will have on your board as a whole, i did that by request. also old acounts will have to be updated to use cookies.

Not sure what you mean by 'getting rid of it', but there are no real downsides to changing the user options I mentioned.

I wouldn't suggest you remove the session hash.
In your options, go to the User CP --> Edit Options
Look for 'Browse board with cookies?' and set it to 'Yes' - the gibberish will disappear.

i see that most of the forums i go to have links like this, /forums/showthread.php? how do i get rid of all those letters and numbers in the links if possible? thanksTags: None

by blrsI added a "nofollow" attribute to all outgoing links, through admin. Is it possible to make selected links "dofollow". I would select one or two, particular ones, which would be "dofollow"...
