You need to use the real path on that server to this backup file. If you are runnng the command from the directory that contains the backup file, then you can eliminate the:

    /my/path/

...and just use the file name.

I am having problems doing the backup. I have uploaded the sql backup file to the server, and I have followed the directions, but when I put the command line......mysql -uUSERNAME -p newdbname < /path/to/dump.sql....obviously with my info, I get the following error..../my/path/file.sql:No such file or directory. What am I doing wrong?

Upload your backup (if its not already there) and then start from step three of that page

    Installing backup

I backed up my forums a day ago, then one of my admins distroyed the board. I want to get it back to the way it was. I tried to find the instructions on the site, but I am useless when it comes to searching for certain things. lol. Please tell me or give me a link to how to do this. Thanks in advance.
