  • Fatal error: get_bbarraycookie()

    Hey everyone,
    I am getting a strange error when I try to view my site: http://www.kirupaforum.com Is there a way for me to reinstall the vb software? I tried to re-upload the admin folder, but nothing happened. I recently upgraded from 2.2.6 to 2.2.9

    Thanks,
    Kirupa

    How did you upgrade? Did you follow the instructions here?

      Steve, yes I did. At one step while over-writing the files with the newer versions, I received a server unexpectedly closed connection message. I am using FrontPage to upload the files btw. I re-logged in, and I ran all the upgrade scripts in the order I was supposed to, and I got them all installed. Yet the forums don't seem to be working.

      Thanks,
      Kirupa

        Ack, when I re-uploaded, I think I uploaded the backup of the old admin directory I had; let me upload the proper one. Sorry, this may work.

          Reupload all original 2.2.9 vB files. Make sure you overwrite the ones on the server. As long as you ran the correct upgrade scripts this should fix the problem.

            Steve, thanks. It was my fault. After the server error, I uploaded my backed up, original files instead. Guess I should have tried to be more careful.

            Cheers!
