  • Running repair causes problems

    Hi,
I just had a few database errors on my server and ran the repair utility (I'm assuming since I'm with 2.2.9 that the version of repair is current aswell).
As soon as I did it, the server kept producing 1016 errors because it ran out of space.
The tech team looking after the server say the problems are with a file called www-bin.012 which was over 100meg in size.
They said there were several such files there.
Does the repair utility create large temp files and if it is run several times in a row and fails, does it leave behind large files to clog up your server?

Yes, the repair.php script creates temp files which should be deleted once the script finishes. We'd be able to help more if you posted the complete error message.

And what is the 'out of space' error you are getting when you run repair.php?
